Terms and Conditions
These terms cover what you can and cannot do on chickenpirateapps.com and in the Chicken Pirate app. Reading them takes a few minutes and saves confusion later.
Using the Site and App
Using chickenpirateapps.com or having Chicken Pirate installed on your phone counts as agreeing to what is written here. Nobody is going to quiz you on it, but it is worth a quick read so nothing comes as a surprise later.
Personal use only. The site is here for you to read, and the app is here for you to play. Not for building something commercial on top of, not for reselling, not for anything that involves making money off our stuff without talking to us first.
What You Can and Cannot Do
Browse the site, grab the app, play, contact us if something is off. That is the full list of what a regular user needs to do here and all of it is fine.
Scraping the site, reverse-engineering the app, copying content and putting it somewhere else, trying to poke holes in our infrastructure – none of that is okay. We will deal with it if it happens.
Intellectual Property
The game visuals, the audio, how the mechanics work, the copy on these pages – all of it belongs to us. It did not appear from nowhere and it is not free to take.
Got a legitimate reason to use something from the site or the game? Ask. That is genuinely the whole process. Some requests we say yes to. Lifting things quietly is not the way to find out.
No Real Money
No gambling in Chicken Pirate. No bets, no real payouts, no financial stakes of any kind. Coins you collect in the game are coins in a game. They are worth nothing outside of it.
There are sites out there that frame things differently. If you find one that claims to be us or claims the game involves real money, it is not us. We have no control over what third parties say.
Disclaimers
The site and app work well most of the time. We put effort into keeping them stable. But devices vary, connections drop, and bugs show up in places nobody expected. We cannot guarantee a perfect experience on every setup.
If something goes wrong because of a bug, tell us. We want to fix it. That said, using the site and app is at your own risk in the legal sense, to the extent that applicable law allows for that kind of language.
Updates to These Terms
If these terms change, the page gets updated. The date at the bottom changes too. Nothing gets quietly swapped out without a trace.
