What We Collect

Visiting chickenpirateapps.com leaves a small technical footprint: browser type, device type, pages visited. That is automatic and pretty much universal across any website you open. No registration, no forms, nothing you need to fill out before reading.

The app side is the same idea. Chicken Pirate may log your OS version, how the app is performing, and crash data when something goes wrong. That helps us track down bugs. It is not attached to your name, your email, or anything personal.

How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to patch things that break and to check how the app runs across different devices. That is genuinely it. No ad targeting, no profiling, no passing it along to third parties.

If you write to us, your email gets used to write back. It does not end up on a list somewhere. One exchange, one purpose.

Third-Party Services

A few third-party tools are built into the app, mostly for crash reporting and basic analytics. They have their own policies and collect data on their end. If you want the complete picture, those policies are worth a look. We keep the number of these tools low and avoid ones that seem to collect for the sake of collecting.

The website runs on hosting infrastructure that logs traffic as aggregate numbers. No individual profiles come out of that, and none of it connects to advertising.

Children’s Privacy

The site and app are for users 13 and older. We do not go after data from younger kids, and frankly the app does not ask anyone their age at all. If you suspect a child sent us personal information somehow, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Screen time controls on iOS and Android exist for a reason. If kids are using the app, those tools are there and worth setting up.

Your Rights

Want to know what we have on you, or want something deleted? Ask. Most of the time we will tell you we have nothing personally linked to you, because we genuinely do not collect it. If you sent us an email at some point and want it gone, that is a reasonable ask and we will handle it.

Changes to This Policy

When something changes, this page gets updated and the date at the bottom changes with it. We are not in the habit of rewriting things in ways that obscure what actually shifted.
